WoowShop! Our New Drupal Commerce Responsive Theme

UPDATE 11.06.12 - The WoowShop Drupal Commerce theme is now available!

We are working on some exciting new themes here at ThemeSnap.com. The current few themes in development include a real estate theme (based off of the Drupal Car Dealer theme (more to follow in a separate blog post) and another we're working on called WoowShop. The WoowShop Drupal theme is quite unique in that it's completely mobile (responsive) and it includes faceted search capabilities. So, you can set up brands, product types, or other criteria within the faceted search options for WoowShop. This is great for practically any type of products and helps customers navigate right down to the product they're looking for more quickly.

WoowShop will be set up using the popular Commerce module from Drupal. The pages that will be included in the WoowShop theme are front page, main category page, product page, blog main page, blog post page, and a general use typography page. Below you'll find a few snapshots of this new, awesome Commerce theme we're working on!

We are shooting for the end of the month for completion of WoowShop.

We are looking for a possible solution to one or more of these Ajax features. We will have to look at how any Ajax might work well with the mobile version. But we'll see if we can get something like this added to it.

Woow Shop

Thanks for commenting...

As much as we love Ubercart, we may not port this particular theme to Ubercart just after it's released. We have 3 or so other Drupal shopping themes that we have both Commerce and Ubercart versions and maintaining a second "version" takes a decent amount of extra time.

We'll see how well this theme is received and if many ask for the Ubercart version of it. Then, we can look at porting it over to Ubercart. :)

Hi,
Moving a column from one side to the other in a theme that's mobile may take more work than a normal theme. Yes, you've have to modify the CSS and even theme files to make this happen.

You can set up in the the surface search option WoowShop brand, product type, or other criteria. This is great for almost any type of product, and help customers products they are looking for fast navigation.

I was feeling pretty dumb. I migrated my blog from Movable Type to Drupal back in December. One of the things I lost in the move was a category index. I couldn't find a good way to get Drupal to give me a basic listing of category terms in a given vocabulary.

Is there a Check Out button in the Shopping Cart page?

Also, in most of the Catalog landing pages, the right side Product Filter box got push down in both Safari and Firefox!

And it looks funny when I go to the Catalog Jewellery main page. It only showed one product. When you click on it. It takes you to the product detail page! Should this Catalog main page looks like the one you show above (WoowShop Main Category Page "with faceted search")?
