I am using the efficient theme in one of the sites i am working on.
I uploaded an image in the story placed in the region Featured top but the image is not showing on the home page. Moreover, the regions "featured top" , "featured left " and " featured right" are overlapping..
Am I missing some kind of setting somewhere?

Thanks

More information needed

Hi,
I tried to find your order and order date for the Efficient theme so that I could better help you. I used your email address and name (in the email address you have set up on this site) but found no previous order tied to it.

Could you please let me know when you purchased so that I can identify your version and we can see what might be the issue from there?

Thanks

Hi My colleague Christopher

Hi
My colleague Christopher Loos had ordered it for National Center for Smart Growth. Since he left the firm I am looking into the issues. Heres the link to our site Nationalcenterforsmartgrowth.org
The version is efficient-6.x-2. Please let me know if you need more details.

Thanks for your help.

Featured blocks

Hi,
Was the theme working correctly when initially set up? Since our themes come with installation profiles, the front page regions with Imagecache thumbnails and everything sets up automatically. Besides the front page Featured images not appearing, it looks like a yellow background appearing for the entire content portion of the page.

Something looks like it was accidentally removed, perhaps when a template file was getting altered? Can you also check your file paths? For example, in the demo theme the top most featured block's image is stored here (viewing the source code of the front page):

main_site_domain/theme-demos/efficient-theme/sites/default/files/imagecache/520x262/thirteensenses_0_0.jpg

So, your image path should look like this:

main_site_domain/sites/default/files/imagecache/520x262/some_image_name_here.jpg

Can you make sure that this entire subdirectory path is there on your install and is writable?

You may have to backtrack or reinstall if there have been alterations that have caused the issues.

Thanks
Jason

Initially , when we uploaded

Initially , when we uploaded the first picture, it worked fine but when we removed it and uploaded a new picture that is when this problem surfaced.

The image source is pointing to this path "http://nationalcenterforsmartgrowth.org/sites/default/files/imagecache/featured_block_1/CampLogan_0.JPG"

but the image that i want to show on the home page is saved at the location "......./sites/default/files/CampLogan_0.JPG"

How is it saving my image at that location and how do i change the directory path?

Also, can we change the color of the theme by altering the style.css file?

Thanks
Lincy

I believe this post will help you

Hi,
I believe your problem is relating to the long thread located here:

http://drupal.org/node/371195

Check around comment #72 for a potential fix for this issue.

FYI -- This isn't a theme issue as you can see, but a Drupal module issue. Unfortunately, the modules our themes use are the developer maintained ones on Drupal, so the occasional issue is bound to rear its ugly head. :-(
