Hello themesnap,

I have purchased the Efficient Theme yesterday. All I can say, is that I am impressed by your great work on the theme! Really good work guys, congrats!

It only took 10 mins to install properly on my local server. I am impressed by that too.

At the moment, I am upgrading existing modules that needs to be upgraded.
However, I have some questions about the following upgrades:

1. Drupal core: Current Efficient Theme Drupal version is 6.10. Is there any specific method I should use in order to upgrade to 6.13 (newest Drupal version)? Or do I just follow the Drupal UPGRADE.txt instructions, as I would do with any other Drupal site?

2. Wysiwyg: Current Efficient Theme Wysiwyg version is 6.x-1.1. What exactly do I need to replace in the sites>all>modules>wysiwyg directory in order to upgrade to Wysiwyg version 6.x-2.0?

3. Views: Current Efficient Theme Views version is 6.x-2.4. How can I upgrade the Views module to the 6.x-2.6 version?

Any help will be welcome.

All the best,
DF

Answers to your install/upgrade questions

Hi,
Thanks for purchasing the theme! Glad you got it set up so quickly. I'll try to answer your questions the best I can below.

1) Drupal core -- Yes, you should be able to upgrade to the latest version of Drupal without affecting the theme's output, as everything is controlled by the modules themselves and Drupal core is more behind the scene (security upgrades, etc). Follow the normal method of upgrading noted in upgrade.txt or on the Drupal.org website.

2) WYSIWYG upgrade -- You should upgrade that module completely, following normal module upgrading instructions. That means going to the module admin page, un-selecting the check box beside the WYSIWYG module, removing it from your sites/all/modules folder and following the installation instructions that comes with the module when you download the new version from Drupal.

3) Views -- For now, please stick with the current Views module for the theme. We are upgrading quite a few things over the next two weeks with our themes, where we will be rebuilding the Efficient and Publisher themes so that they will work with the latest modules. We will notify people who purchased earlier versions when we do so that they can upgrade accordingly.

Please let me know if this helps or if I can answer anything else.

Thanks!

Thank you for your quick

Thank you for your quick reply Brian,

At the moment, that's all I wanted to ask. Just to make sure that I will not cause any fatal errors on my site...
I will be back if I have more questions.

Thanks again.
Best wishes,
DF
