Problems with installing the Kontroller theme

Hi,

I'm using drupal-6.19.
I'm new to drupal.

I have many problems with installing the theme.
The instruction is not clear!

1. Step 5 last paragraph. I don't know what to do with the permissions page.

2. Step #6
2.1- In the Content management doesn't have the Story, but there is Story in Content types.
- After I click on the edit and Display Fields of the Story, I don't know what to do with it...
2.2- I don't understand with "Show block on specific pages, under 'Show on only the listed pages' put < front > to only show it on the front page." statement! Do I need to choose 'Show on only the listed pages' or not?
Where I need to put the "< front >"? Depend on what I see under the Show on only the listed pages, there is another option "Show if the following PHP code returns TRUE (PHP-mode, experts only)." and under it there is a textarea.

and I don't understand with this statement in other steps "Show block on specific pages: Show on only the listed pages: < front >"

3. Whenever I go to edit a content, I got sql errror.
user warning: Unknown column 'stories_front' in 'field list' query: SELECT stories_front FROM kontrol_promotes WHERE nid = 18 in /www/happyapp.webtochef.com/trunk/sites/all/modules/kontrollerextra/kontrollerextra.module on line 489.

I had the same problem:

Unknown column 'stories_front' in 'field list' query: SELECT stories_front FROM kontrol_promotes WHERE nid - XX

so I added a field to the database (just copy atributes from top_front) and the error disappeared, please confirm if this is a good solution.
