collapsible columns?

Why are the left and right columns not collapsible?

If I do not want any thing in the left column, it still shows a blank white column. Ideally the middle column should expand if the left column is empty.

You guys have pathetic support! No reply to any query for 2-3 days. Infact there has been no reply to anyone for weeks.

I should claim a chargeback!
