I just bought the Publisher theme...overall I am very pleased. However, I am having some issues with the featured block.

The featured block 1 content is trying to display outside of the content box off to the left and its all black.

I searched the forum and found the reference to the jquery in the 5.x...looking through the scripts in this version I have found no jquery js at all...I searched all the uploaded modules as well...nothing...the only scripts in the Publisher theme were menu.js menu_ie6.js and swfobject.js.

There are no pics showing in Feature Block 2 or 3 as well. And I'm having trouble figuring out how to add block 4 to the sidebar, its not in the block section.

Note: I checked the view image cache boxes in the permission settings and still nothing for images. I've check and rechecked everything.

Please help.

Thanks for the help.

Hello Agoodi,

I am looking into the block 1 and 4 problems and hope to have an answer for you tomorrow. Training videos on blocks 2 and 3 are in the works.

Thank you,
Phillip

Phillip, I did find the

Phillip,

I did find the jquery script by the way. Should I try and revert to an older version?

I also noticed that the current CCK is different than the one in the video. I tried the one in the video and still no luck...I'm going to look into the css today and see if something got messed up...looking forward to hearing what you came up with.

Thanks for the Help

Problem Solved...Sorta

If anyone else is having problems getting the photos to display properly in the publisher theme make sure to enable clean urls.  Your host server has to support mod_rewrite, if they do and its already enabled you may have to use the htaccess.txt file as the .htaccess file...just copy and rename the .txt file.

Still having some problems getting the photos to display in full story mode though...

Images on full nodes ...

I'm having issues getting the photos to display in full story node mode as well.  Any solutions to this?  Is anyone else having problems with imagecache settings on the full node?

which fix?

Hi-

A few different issues are cited in this thread -- I'm having the one regarding not being able to view the pic in full story mode.

I applied the above fix, cleared my cache, ran cron....nothing seems to be any different.

Was this fix not addressing the issue I have?

Also, my Feature 1 pic is hidden behind the black teaser, and I've noticed your demo has transparency....what's the mod to achieve this effect?

Please help.

thanks!

Kevin

I meant to ask about the transparency in Feature Block 1 behind the teaser too.
It was there in D5, and gone in D6. Any fix?

By the way, we added a fader/rotor to the images in Feature Block 1.  Looks great, and suggested to be a feature.  Our problem is that it only works in Firefox, not in IE.
