Using Publisher theme with Drupal 6.x. File attachments are showing up on our PAGE type posts, but not on our STORY type posts. I notice that the theme has a "node-story.tpl" that's overriding the output. How can I restore the file attachments ability - I need to view file attachments on story nodes but still have those nodes post to the featured blocks on the home page.

Please email us via the contact form and let us know what version you are using 1.4, 1.5, etc.. and provide admin access to your site and we can troubleshoot the issue for you as file attachments are showing for me on the publisher theme for the story content type. Did you check to see if the permissions were set for anonymous, or authenticated users to view the file attachments?
We're using the Publisher theme (version 6.4). In our CSS file it says it's version 1.1:
