Larger Images on node?

So I have the featured block 2 and 3 images working with Imagecache on the home page - they are using a featuredImage field in the Story type and then using the featured_block_2 and featured_block_3 imagecache settings, scaling to a size of 193x111.

Now my issue is how to get the images showing up on the full nodes?  I tried this with display fields in the content type but it's not working.  I set the display fields to the same imagecache settings and the image is not showing up on the node.  how do you get the images on the full nodes?  I see it working on the demo site here:

http://www.themesnap.com/theme-demos/publishe...

How was that larger image of U2 fed into that story item to resize full?  It's starting to get a bit frustrating to see things on the demo site that are not functional when you purchase the theme.  It's frustrating that we needed to purchase this theme but we can't get the same layout as the demo site.

Please help!

Thanks,

Imagefield doesn't work on full nodes at all ...

Ok, this is weird - I added another image field to my story content type and uploaded an image using this field and displayed this image in my full node and it doesn't show up - so this tells me that this theme is programmed in some strange way to override all normal use of CCK. CCK imagefields should show up in teaser and full nodes when you upload images using them. Why is this not allowable with the Publisher theme?

wacky transition on homepage from the fix

Thanks for the instructions. Was at a loss for how to get pix on the full-node views too, but then I came across your directions.

Only thing is that now there's a really weird transition between the two images when clicking from "1" to "2" etc..on the homepage. e.g. the fix you mentioned above solved the full-node view issue, but it created a new issue (albeit somewhat smaller issue):

The new issue is that the images appear stacked over one another for a split second during the brief transition. e.g. one of the images appears in the intended spot, and the other images floats in the middle of the page for a brief moment. Kind of annoying to the eyes...looks kind of "buggy" and not as slick as the rest of the theme.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Large images in the node view

I just purchased this theme and I am having a similar issue. The images display fine on the frontpage of the site but when I click through to the node they are much larger and in a different position (below the text). I sized the images to match each featured block.

Thoughts?

Opposite effect

Thats funny, we had the picture show up on the bottom of the story. Now it is in the upper lefthand corner, which looks like what the publisher theme has. We would like it to go back down to the bottom of the text again, and we have no idea what changed.
