Showing featured block 4 only on listed pages

Hey Brian,

Drupal gives me the option of showing certian blocks only on certian pages - as I am sure you are aware, if I make a block I can have it show on all pages, show on only the listed pages, or hide only on the lsited pages.

Can this functionality extend for feature block 4? I love it for the frontpage, but when on other pages that sidebar "real estate" gets expensive...and I'm primarily using feature block 4 for my frontpage and maybe a few others only. So is there a way I can have it "show only on the listed pages" or "dont show on the listed pages"?

 Thanks man!

feature block 4 control

Hi,
This email request was sent to me earlier and I have already noted it for this next set of updates, hopefully made later this week. It may be the beginning of next week though depending on the other things in our work queue.

Thanks

Update info

I'd like to get the Publisher Theme but I'm thinking of waiting until the update. Can you give us a better idea of when the update will happen and what will be added and/or fixed by the update? Thanks.

Block 4

How can I assign the block 4 feature to one of the side bars...I do not see it in the blocks section?

Thanks

Maybe this would work as a solution:

Brian,

I already fielded this to you over email but i'm putting it in the forums too in hopes other users could find this helpful.

Since I've been spending alot of time going through my installation's code and other modules code, I have an idea that might make this solution easier. From a coding perspective, what about just modifying the code to have feature block 4 show up as a regular drupal block? That way it would give it the functionality we're looking for, but I think it would be pretty easy to implement.

Hope this helps in some way!

R'okay, finarry, I figured

R'okay, finarry,

I figured out how to acually remove feature block 4 from the sidebar as a quick fix before Brian can get a system down to have it show only on the listed pages.

Navigate to admin/publisher theme settings in the admin panel, and under feature block 4, set the node count to 0. Save it. It's quick fix and the tradeoff is you can't use feature block 4 at all...but in the mean time you can just make new blocks.

Hope this helps everyone else who is having this problem.
