What version of imagecache?

What version of image cache the publisher theme will need?  I just purchase the fheme and installed all modules according to the setup guide.  Current version of imagecache is 5.x-2.1.  This is the one I can download from the drupal site.  It seems your theme is not using this version.

After tracing the code, you are using _imagecache_xxx in the publisher.module where the functions name of imagecache are all starting with imagecache_xxx (without the leading underscore.)  Furthermore, many imagecache functions used in the publisher.module are not found in the imagecache.module.

Am I getting an outdated publisher theme or using an incorrect version of imagecache.  Please kindly advise.

Themes are updated. We are testing the Drupal 6 versions

Hi.
We are testing the Drupal 6 versions this week for both themes. Somebody is at home.... just way too many pokers in the fire. ;-)

Great news. I've been

Great news. I've been checking back periodically for new themes, and ports to v6.

I would also love it if you plopped some standard ad-size regions to both themes, that would very likely increase both the chances of me purchasing, and how many I purchase (I run around 40 sites).

Can't you just add the ad

Can't you just add the ad module to one of the sidebars?

It would be nice to have the upper banner (logo, etc) be a block to easily add custom banners (or very high rent ads :-)

Imagecache/Imagefield versions

Hi,
The modules used within the upgraded Drupal 6 themes (Publisher and Efficient) use the listed and latest releases of those modules. you can find out what versions have been last tested with the themes by visiting the setup and guide pages for either theme.

@ DanD - You can add the Drupal advertisement (Ads) module to the theme and tweak it from there. We may be adding this functionality on another release of the Publisher theme for Drupal 6.

The problem is that the more regions/customizations that are added to each theme, the more modules are used. The more modules are used, the more issues with module version compatibility and upgrading is.

Recommendation noted though.

Thanks
