I have enabled avatars in comments and I am wondering how to make the width of the avatar static, or even both the width and the height--without distoring the avatar.  I have seen this done on other pages, just wondering if you all knew.

Hi Amnion,
Not sure exactly what you are referring to here, but if you are talking about the set width/height of avatars, you can change it here within the admin area:

Go to "User Settings"

/admin/user/settings

In:
"Picture maximum dimensions:" setting change the width/height to what you need.

Is this what you're referring to?

Re: Avatar Picture Size

Might be easier to just show you what it's doing to give you a better idea. If you look at any of the comments, (www.fatalfitness.com). Is it just a matter of me setting the avatar widths as you suggested above?

I think you'll have to take a look at some of the comments to see what I mean. Check this page out for instance:

The avatars are just wrong, all wrong. :) Actually, a lot is wrong, haha.
