Installing the Publisher 6.x Theme with Install Profile

Assumptions:

• You have Drupal friendly hosting: www.drupal.org/requirements
• You know how to create a database and how to use FTP.
• You have purchased and downloaded the Publisher-6.x-1.5 theme with Install Profile.

Estimated Setup Time: Approx. 10 to 15 minutes.

1. Download and unzip the latest stable version of Drupal 6.x from http://www.drupal.org/project/drupal

2. Copy the folder named publisher into the profiles folder of the Drupal 6.x folder.

3. Copy the folder named all into the sites folder within the Drupal 6.x folder. It will ask if you want to replace the current all folder. Choose yes.

4. Copy the folder named files into the default folder within the Drupal 6.x folder.

5. In the same default folder, make a copy of the default.settings.php file and rename it as settings.php

6. Upload the entire contents of your Drupal folder to your server.

7. Create a database while your files are uploading. Make a note of the db name, username, and password as you will need it during your Drupal installation.

8. Once the files finish uploading, browse to your website address, (the location you uploaded your files to such as www.yoursite.com), select the Publisher Theme install profile and follow the steps to complete the installation process.
