Hey all!

After about a month of development (we pretty much purchased the shoppica theme on the day it came out!), we have just released our online travel agency, Swiss-Hopper.com

Swiss-Hopper is dedicated to budget travellers visiting Switzerland and offers packaged deals and special discounts on accommodation, activities, tours - always focusing on the budget alternatives.

The shoppica theme was great to work on - i have tried many layout changes and ended up reverting back to what was proposed - a very smooth, eye-friendly theme that suited this project quite well!

Here is the site - http://www.swiss-hopper.com

I managed to include online booking search box from hostelworld.com within the tabs, and we sell "open-dated tickets" with ubercart, which suit well for gifts or people who don't know exactely when they'll be around Switzerland during their Euro trip..

It still has some flaws and little bugs to fix, but I felt it was time to put it out there and iron the kinks as i go. Please let me know your comments and suggestions!

Thanks in advance for your feedback, and if you need any tips for your next trip to Switzerland, please feel free to ask the friendly Swiss native that i am :)

Very nice one!
I'm currently working too in Shoppica to impement internationalization and it requires more than a few modifications - but it seems to work.
A question: what is the module you used for the minimap with the mousover effect?

Very nice!

I would have never thought to use the theme for bookings, but you pulled it off nicely.

Thank you!

Thanks for your nice comments!

Nikos: I used a simple module called jQuery maphilight - you can find it here, but that was the easy part. I actually think you can do without the module, all you need is the jquery maphilight plugin.

The really long process was to map that map.. i cannot find the website i used for that (an application that lets you upload your map and then use the mouse to draw shapes for each regions to highlight). You'll find one using google..

Since my map is very complex, it took me ages to make the 13 shapes to highlight on the map!!

You should have left the

You should have left the comments in the product node so people could post their experiences in those locations. There are tons of travel sites, hotels sites, etc that let the customer do that. I think it would have been a good selling point. But your client might have told you to take it out.
